- Watching Eurovision 2010 from the internet!
- Finishing my to-read stack. There are about six books I have yet to finish there.
- Finishing org projects I've left for a while because of quizzes everyday.
- A niece's christening. Can't wait to see her again because she's so cute~

The final exams got moved to this weeks. That means I'll be taking two tests on Thursday and on Friday. But there's a lot to look forward to after the exams, like:

Yay Sunday!
Oh, wow. It's Sunday once again, and time to list down awesome stuff that happened this past week.
And I noticed that the Yay Sunday post from last week and this one are almost consecutive. I really should post during the week, though it seems impossible this week because there are finals this week and the week after.
- After a meeting that ended really late at night, I entered the mall on my way back to the dorm. Then I learned that there was a mall-wide sale up to 12 midnight. Awesome! So I got a stack of books and some bookmarks on sale.
- Mom brought home mini-cheesecakes this week. They even made me come home from the dorm just to see them. I haven't eaten mine yet, they're too cute to eat
- We went on a trip to Mt. Banahaw for school yesterday. Even though I've got sore arms and legs from hiking and crawling through the caves, I really enjoyed the trip.
- I lounged around the whole day today wearing pajamas and slept on an off.
- Iced tea with sliced lemons. Perfect for a really hot day like today!

"Timely" Elections Post
I'm not old enough to vote yet, so I haven't been as concerned with the elections as I'm supposed to be. It's only on the day itself that I've become fully aware that results will greatly affect the way I live for the next six years. I hope everyone else was aware of at least that while they were picking candidates to vote.
Also, the automated elections weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Sure, there were lots of ballots that didn't get read by the PCOS machines, but at least there wasn't a mass breakdown of the machines involved in the process.
I can't really say that I'm completely optimistic about how the elections will turn out, but I hope the newly elected officials will facilitate change for everyone's betterment, and that we as a country cooperate as well.

Yay Sunday!
This is an attempt to look back at the past week for all the rather good stuff that happened, whether small or freakishly life-changing. Maybe I should do this every week to see if this will improve my outlook of life and how I assess the position I'm in at the moment.
This week, I'm thankful for:
- Being able to finally start this blog. It's been a project I've always wanted to do after seeing that different people have their own blogs where they're able to reflect on things going on in their lives and express themselves.
- Doing okay in the first exams this summer term. I didn't study too well for those, but they turned out fine. I probably should study more for the second Statistics exam this week.
- Figuring out how to conduct our group's experiment for Stat. Now all we have to do is finish setting it up and actually conduct it.
- Being able to attend two org meetings despite having loads of homework to do this week.
- Finding a book at a book sale called Becoming a Writer (Forgot the author, though ^^; I left it at the dorm.). I'm not into writing literary works, but the book does give some tips about thinking creatively and getting motivated to write.
- Mom's operation being a success. She had it today, which is why we spent Mother's Day at the hospital with her. It wasn't anything major, but I hope her problem doesn't bother her anymore.

May 2010 Theme: Starting a Blog
I decided to make themed monthly goals for this blog in addition to my everyday personal goals. Since I just started this blog, the goal theme for May 2010 will revolve around starting a new blog
- Write an “About Page” for this blog – This will be the mission-vision of this blog, why I chose to make this a goals blog. It will keep me focused on writing here.
- Write a profile for myself –
Vanity, mainly. So I'll have some sort of idea of who I am right now, which will somehow help me set goals. I'll also have to fix my Blogger profile because my past blog can be seen D: - Post at least ten posts – Pretty self-explanatory. I need to have content to start with in order for the blog to thrive, at least.
- Start weekly posts – I plan to post every certain day of a week, so that I could blog regularly. I've seen other blogs post a video or links to other blog posts on a given day of the week.
- Make a header – The layout looks blah as it is. I'd like to make at least a header, if not customize the whole thing, to personalize this blog. I'll try to unearth some of my old photos from the external drive at home (haven't been taking pictures lately) for one I could use.

First Post, and First Goal
Hello! My name is Jude, and this is my new blog. I've been thinking of a way to record the goals I set for myself. Then I thought, maybe a public blog would make me a bit more accountable for what I plan to do.
So, my first goal for this blog is to write up goals I want to achieve by the end of May. I think they should be about starting this blog, and a few more for offline life. I'm giving myself up to Friday to post them here. I'd like to say tomorrow, but I have two exams tomorrow (summer classes were unheard of until now) and I really should be studying for them right now instead of posting.
